Bringing the rowing revolution to Canada

When one door closes, another opens

SCULLHOUSE was the first dedicated indoor rowing gym to open in Canada.  Following a great five years at their downtown Toronto location, the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and resultant shifts to life as we knew it necessitated the pivot from in person classes, to online classes.  As a result, SCULLHOUSE Online now offers classes to those interested in rowing all over the globe!

SCULLHOUSE pivoted to offer only online classes, allowing their reach to spread beyond the four corners of Jarvis Street, and into the world beyond.

SCULLHOUSE opened its doors on Jarvis Street downtown Toronto and enjoyed thousands of in person classes sharing the joy of rowing and the love of fitness with Torontonians, and those visiting Toronto.

Kristin heard about indoor rowing studios opening across the United States. In 2016 Kristin left law to bring the rowing revolution to Canada.

Kristin moved to Toronto and began working as a lawyer with a Bay Street law firm in the litigation department. Throughout her six years in law, she never stopped rowing.

Kristin began rowing at the University of Western Ontario and fell in love with the sport. Kristin competed in regattas across Canada and internationally. In 2009 Kristin represented Canada at the World Rowing Championships in Poznan, Poland in the lightweight quad.
